Final Shoots (Photoshopped)
The above photographs are the final shots that I have decided to choose to present in my final presentation. The photographs have been photoshopped a bit, for example adjusting the contrast and brightness and playing with levels and colours also. Below is a short description for each individual photograph.
001 – Moonlit Desert – This object photographed is an umbrella, the light has been purposely included to represent the moon. The “moon” is lighting the desert landscape below.
002 – Sky Tower at Night – The object photographed is an umbrella, the umbrella handle represents a sky tower lit up at night. The sky tower is surrounded by hills.
003 – Dripping oil – The object photographed is a stack of coat hangers. In this photograph the piled up coat hangers shows the dripping of oil, each drip is emphasized by light.
004 – Hangers in Love – The object photographed are a pair of coat hangers. The two coat hangers have been connected physically, with their heads forming a heart shape. The heart shape which represents love has been emphasized by a red filtered spotlight and the shadow cast on the backdrop makes the heart shape more obvious.
005 – Rainbow’s End – The object photographed is a stack of glasses that have been piled up. The shot was taken through the lens of the many glasses. The glasses were held over the spotlight creating a glowing effect. As the glow has a golden colour and a rainbow light is reflected onto one of the lens’s surface, therefore it gives a feeling that it is the rainbow’s end.
006 – The Butterfly Effect – the object photographed are two pairs of sunglasses. Rather than the glasses being the emphasis, the shadow that is produced from the lens of the glasses is the emphasis. The form of a butterfly has been created from the shadows reflected.
