7th Shot
For the seven shot I finally went down to the photography lab in the studio to photograph the object for project 3. In this shoot I continued to photograph sunglasses. I brought two new objects to photograph; one is an umbrella and a bottle of perfume. I choose these two particular objects to photograph because, an umbrella has a big surface area, therefore allowing me to take close ups easily without the photographs being too hard to focus. The perfume bottle was a last minute object that I choose before I left home for the photography lab, as when I left it on my desk sunlight penetrated through the bottle and created quite a nice glowing effect. Although the glowing effect was quite cool, the photograph did not turn out that nice though. The photographs of the umbrella turned out really good, I photographed the umbrella to make it look like landscapes. In one of the photographs of the umbrella I deliberately included the spotlight in the photograph to look like a moon lighting the umbrella landscape below. The photographs taken of the sunglasses were quite unsuccessful, as most of the photographs I took of it were in plan view and did little to give the object form, therefore when I photograph sunglasses next time I will need to photograph them I different, more interesting perspectives. All in all this shot has had some development from the previous few shots, which were quite unsuccessful looking back at them. More development will be required to improve the photographs for the final presentation.
P.S. The contact sheet that has bigger images is the photographs that turned out the best from the overall shot. These could be considered for finals for the final presentation.
